Palladium’s Favorite Food & Wine Events Outside of the Tent
Summer is upon us and the Aspen air is buzzing. The kick-off to summer is synonymous, for locals and travelers alike, with the Food & Wine Classic. Palladium Properties is fortunate enough to have our Aspen office smack dab in the middle of the action. With the sprawling festivities we are always stumbling upon something fabulous. Whether it is trading bottles of water for champagne and fried chicken, or taking a group lunch to Jimmy’s Bodega to observe, we love to partake. Here are a few of our favorite Food & Wine 2018 activities that you can do without going inside the tent:
MONDAY, JUNE 11 | Clark’s Oyster Bar Opening
While it isn’t an event, per se, Clark’s Oyster Bar is destined to be a scene in itself all summer long. The Austin based hotspot, which opened on Monday just in time for Food & Wine, specializes in fresh seafood, great cocktail and of course…oysters. Stop by to see, be seen and enjoy!
THURSDAY, JUNE 14 & FRIDAY, JUNE 15 | 10:30 PM – 1:30 AM | CHAIR 9 at The Little Nell
Who doesn’t love champagne? Stop by The Little Nell for the ultimate champagne party presented by Dom Pérignon and Veuve Clicquot with DJs to tout. No cover, no list, no reason not to!
SATURDAY, JUNE 16 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM | HERITAGE FIRE AT SNOWMASS BASE VILLAGE
Perhaps you’re looking for something a bit more meat centric this weekend? Well, you’re in luck. One of our favorite complementing Food & Wine events is taking place this Saturday in Snowmass Base Village. This annual wood-fired festival features chefs and farmers working together to spotlight traditional outdoor cooking techniques. The lineup includes a plethora of wineries, breweries, craft distillers and 40+ notable chefs and butchers. They will be cooking 3,000 pounds of heritage bread animals in celebration of breed diversity and family farming. There will be buses running from Aspen to Snowmass every 30 minutes for attendees. Tickets can be purchased here. Enjoy!
SATURDAY, JUNE 17 | 12:00 PM / 7:00 PM | KRUG CHAMPAGNE LUNCH & LEGACY OPUS ONE DINNER| ELEMENT 47 at The Little Nell
For those of you with more of a champagne budget, and by champagne we mean expensive champagne, the Krug Champagne lunch and Opus One dinner are a must attend events. Tickets are a cool $2,000 for a pair.
