The firm hires eight new seasoned brokers to round out sales team.
SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colo. (June 9, 2020) – Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSF), the firm which has served Colorado’s mountain resort communities for nearly 60 years, announces the promotion of accomplished broker Rod Woelfle to Office Branch Broker of SSF’s new Snowmass location in what was formerly the Snowmass Base Village development sales office. The firm has also hired eight new brokers to work under Woelfle in the Snowmass office.
Last month, SSF was named the official listing broker for the $600 million Snowmass Base Village – the largest mountain-resort development underway in North America. As the official listing broker, SSF is responsible for all of the new developer residences, including One Snowmass. SSF has listed and sold more than 100 new development projects in the Colorado mountains over the past 30 years, with a total sales volume of $5 billion.
In his new role as Office Branch Broker of Snowmass Base Village, Woelfle will be responsible for supervising and leading a seasoned sales team, providing guidance on sales strategies, assisting with contracts, mentoring new brokers, and helping in any way possible so brokers can focus on what they do best – selling real estate.
With over 50 years of combined experience selling real estate in the Roaring Fork Valley, the newly formed sales team consists of talented brokers who recently joined the SSF firm, including Chris Searles, Steve Harriage and Monica Montany. They will be joining broker Catie Fleming and represent the whole ownership sales team. Working on fractional sales will be new brokers Greg Traxler, Ivan Scoric, Taylor Burstyn and Michael McGinnis. The sales team will be based out of the Snowmass Base Village development sales office – which is SSF’s new Snowmass home that will provide a dedicated presence in this important area.
With the 150-unit Viceroy Residences and the boutique Lumin building recently sold out, current listings in the village include the last Limelight Snowmass Residence, the final four One Snowmass West residences, new whole ownership listings in One Snowmass East starting under $2.0M and the innovative One Snowmass Residence Club, with customized ownership starting at $200,000.
“I am honored and excited that SSF has entrusted me with the leadership of the largest development project in the company’s 60-year history,” says Woelfle. “We’ve got a dedicated and experienced team coming in to the new Snowmass Base Village location. Together, we have a wealth of knowledge about the area, and we can’t wait to get started.”
A Colorado native and full-time broker in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2003, Woelfle works in tandem with his wife, Sarah Woelfle, in representing real estate buyers and sellers. They joined the SSF team in September 2019, where they became branch brokers and continued representing their clients throughout the valley. Prior to SSF, Woelfle was a broker for Coldwell Banker Mason and Morse for 10 years and Aspen Land & Homes for six years. During this time, he was recognized as Realtor of the Year (2008) by the Aspen Board of Realtors (ABOR) and was recognized numerous times as the Top Sales Agent of the Year. He also served as President of ABOR in 2007 and has been the Chairperson of ABOR Scholarship Foundation and Selection Committee since 2016. Rod holds real estate credentials of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Eco-Broker, CLHMS, and Resort and Second Home Property Specialty (RSPS).
“Rod is a true leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional service for clients and has an ability to develop winning and creative solutions – traits that are at the cornerstone of our firm’s mission,” says SSF Managing Broker and Executive Vice President Krista Klees. “These are also vitally important traits that will be critical to the success of this new role and selling Snowmass Base Village, and ultimately, helping support and grow the valley’s economy.”
Rod is fiercely proud of his Colorado roots and his community involvement in the Roaring Fork Valley, including over a decade of coaching various soccer teams for the Roaring Fork Valley Soccer Club and the Roaring Fork High School team. In his spare time, Rod and Sarah embrace travel and the outdoors with their three children.
